JetBrains develops professional software development tools designed to automate routine tasks and enhance productivity. The Business Applications Development team manages internal and external services, focusing on the automation of sales flows and license management processes through a suite of web applications primarily built with Kotlin.

• Design, improve, and execute test scenarios for new and existing functionalities;
• Apply an exploratory testing approach on a daily basis;
• Investigate, identify, and reproduce complex issues reported by users;
• Participate in discussions about new projects and review feature requirements;
• Communicate with teammates and other teams to find optimal solutions.

• At least 3 years of experience in web applications or SaaS testing (white box);
• Proficiency with browser tools such as DevTools, Postman, and code sniffers;
• Ability to read and write code in Java or Kotlin;
• Skill in writing complex SQL queries;
• Understanding of application architecture and web application security mechanisms;
• Ability to work with different processes and in varied environments;
• Nice to have: understanding of containerization principles, experience with *nix command tools (man, grep, find, sed, netstat, awk), experience with VSCode, familiarity with IntelliJ IDEA, experience building automated testing infrastructure and processes.
