QA specialist for live games (manual)

Kuuasema is a Helsinki-based game studio founded in 2004. It builds complete games, runs live operations, and ports titles for partners across mobile, PC, and console platforms. The studio also develops original games, including the PC title Cthulhu Keeper.

• Design and execute test strategies, test cases, and QA processes across iOS, Android, and PC platforms
• Coordinate and lead internal and external QA efforts, mentor junior testers, and support collaboration
• Work with developers, designers, and production to identify risks early and clarify quality requirements
• Take responsibility for release candidate testing, regression tracking, performance testing, and quality of live updates
• Maintain and manage the bug database, prioritize findings, and ensure clear, reproducible bug reports
• Improve Kuuasema’s general QA practices and tools in collaboration with other teams

• 5+ Years of experience in game quality assurance, including experience in a lead or senior-level role
• Experience testing, shipping, and operating mobile titles on iOS and Android
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum/Lean methodologies and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and TestRail
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with a systematic and collaborative approach
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Passion for video games and a player-centric quality mindset
