QA lead (manual) in AAA game development

• Lead, mentor, and develop the gameplay QA team, fostering accountability, role clarity, and continuous skill growth
• Adapt and implement the overarching Cyberpunk 2 QA strategy into practical testing approaches, measurable outcomes, and clear team priorities
• Own testing execution and milestone verification, ensuring tasks are completed on time and meet gameplay quality standards
• Monitor gameplay quality metrics, KPIs, and bug trends to identify risks early and develop mitigation plans
• Partner with development, production, and external QA vendors to coordinate dependencies, gameplay requests, and alignment
• Maintain clear, data-informed reporting on quality status, blockers, and project readiness for relevant stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvements in QA workflows, tools, testing frameworks, technical documentation, and team effectiveness
• Assist with complex investigations, issue analysis, and debugging workflows when required
• Manage the gameplay QA team within the project, translating the project QA strategy into clear team plans, priorities, and measurable outcomes
• Ensure reliable milestone verification, visibility into gameplay quality status and risks, and continuous improvement of QA workflows, tools, reporting, and gameplay testing practices
• Collaborate with Production, Development, Tech, Shared Development Services, QA Experts, other QA Managers, and cross-functional teams to support gameplay integrity, engine and tools quality, performance, stability, gameplay consistency, and development pipeline reliability

• 5+ Years of experience leading or managing QA teams
• 5+ Years of experience with direct performance management and career development
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, bug workflows, defect management, test planning, test coverage, QA practices, and quality reporting
• Experience with game engines and editors, preferably Unreal Engine
• Strong understanding of game development lifecycles and the ability to develop and execute testing strategies covering integration, stress, performance, stability, tools, engine, platform, and technical feature validation
• Experience working with QA metrics, KPIs, and bug trends
• Experience with performance analysis, profiling tools, crash analysis, memory investigations, platform-specific testing, or console development environments
• Experience with Unreal Insights, engine profiling, and crash debugging
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting technical quality status, risks, blockers, priorities, and recommendations
• Experience creating and maintaining test documentation, test plans, test reports, dashboards, or quality summaries
• Experience improving QA workflows, reporting models, dashboards, technical metrics, or test management processes
• Experience working with external QA vendors, distributed QA teams, or cross-location development teams
• Strong ownership, accountability, emotional maturity, and ability to work effectively under pressure, ambiguity, and changing priorities
• Strong alignment with RED values and ability to act as a role model in communication, decision-making, collaboration, and leadership
• Availability to work 10:00 AM–6:00 PM to maintain several hours of overlap with the Boston team
• English proficiency at a minimum C1 level

• Employment contract (umowa o pracę) in Poland
• Working hours are 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Relocation to Poland is required for those residing abroad
