qa engineer (manual) in telecommunications systems

The company develops mission-critical telecommunications systems used in defence and homeland security environments.

• Execute hardware and system-level test plans for telecom systems (GSM / UMTS / LTE);
• Perform debugging and root cause analysis across components and full systems;
• Validate systems during production and pre-deployment phases;
• Develop scripts and tools, such as Python, to support test automation and efficiency;
• Analyze field issues and support on-site deployments when required;
• Collaborate with hardware, RF, and software engineers to resolve issues.

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a similar field;
• Hands-on experience or a strong academic background with relevant projects or internships in hardware testing or troubleshooting;
• Understanding of telecommunications systems (GSM, UMTS, LTE) or related wireless/networking technologies;
• Ability to debug hardware and system failures and identify root causes;
• Ability to read and understand schematics and system-level diagrams;
• Experience working in Linux environments;
• Basic scripting skills in Python or willingness to develop automation capabilities;
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail;
• Willingness to travel internationally occasionally when required;
• Availability for occasional off-hours support in critical situations;
• Ability to perform in high-pressure environments.
