qa engineer (manual) for trading desktop applications

The team has been developing trading software for a top-tier hedge fund partner for over 12 years and owns trading desktop applications.

• Continuously improve manual testing coverage;
• Increase the quality and transparency of internal processes;
• Propose solutions and approaches to improve quality;
• Participate in Agile/Scrum software release delivery;
• Collaborate with development, support, and QA teams;
• Work with the global QA team to design and build integration tests;
• Improve system testability with developers and create a testing environment;
• Solve complex problems with practical, maintainable, and scalable solutions.

• 5+ Years of manual QA experience;
• Hands-on manual testing experience at Senior level;
• Hands-on experience with the Linux terminal;
• Shell/Bash and Python;
• Proactiveness, ownership, and a “Can do” attitude;
• English B2 Upper Intermediate;
• Nice to have: familiarity with continuous testing and continuous delivery, Jenkins, TeamCity, or Octopus, understanding of capital markets, equities, derivatives, futures or FX trading, trade lifecycle, asset classes and their properties, good communication skills, good QA concepts.

• Late working hours until 18:00, with one day per week until 21:00.
