qa engineer (manual) for order management

The company develops backend systems for tracking, analyzing, and delivering order-related events, supporting critical analytics and order management processes.

• Perform comprehensive manual testing of backend systems handling tracking, analytics, order-related events, order lists, and business-critical data;
• Conduct daily REST API testing and execute complex SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and system stability;
• Design, develop, and maintain functional automated tests for backend systems;
• Analyze discrepancies between actual system outputs and expected business outcomes, identify root causes, and contribute to solutions;
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to align testing with business goals and technical requirements;
• Identify opportunities to improve testing strategies, increase automation coverage, and enhance product quality.

• Strong hands-on experience in manual backend testing;
• Solid knowledge and daily experience with REST API testing and complex SQL queries;
• Experience with backend test automation using JavaScript;
• Strong data analysis skills and the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies between actual and expected results;
• Ability to detect subtle issues in backend processes and data flows;
• Proficiency in debugging and resolving complex issues in data-driven systems;
• Fluent Russian for internal communication and documentation;
• Nice to have: familiarity with backend systems involving analytics and order management.
