QA Engineer (manual)

Volmi – A Virtuos Studio is an outsourcing company specializing in game development and content creation. As part of Virtuos, the studio contributes to the development of various mobile, PC, console, and VR projects.

• Execute manual test cases and analyze results in a thorough and methodical manner;
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand game design and functions for effective testing;
• Report and track defects, providing detailed descriptions to facilitate efficient resolution;
• Validate fixes implemented by developers and ensure no regression occurs in the game;
• Assist in creating and maintaining test cases and test scenarios;
• Analyze and optimize the testing process and manage documentation;
• Ensure all aspects of the game are working correctly, from functionality and balance to performance and compliance.

• 3+ Years of experience in manual QA testing in the gaming industry;
• Proficient understanding of game development and software testing methodologies;
• Knowledge and understanding of the software development process and life cycle;
• Experience in testing on various platforms (iOS, Android);
• Ability to decompose functionality into components and test independently;
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• English level: Intermediate or higher;
• Nice to have: Knowledge of different gaming platforms and their certification processes, familiarity with test automation tools and scripting.
