qa engineer (auto) in test automation

EPAM develops enterprise software products, open source solutions, and accelerators, and operates testing and AI-focused brands.

• Design and implement end-to-end test automation architectures using JavaScript and Python;
• Define automation strategies, including framework selection, tooling, and infrastructure setup;
• Build and scale automation from scratch, ensuring maintainability and reusability;
• Collaborate with Dev, DevOps, and QA teams to embed automation into CI/CD pipelines;
• Drive improvements in test coverage, execution speed, and quality metrics;
• Introduce and prototype AI-driven testing solutions, including test generation, self-healing, and quality insights;
• Contribute to presales activities through solution design, estimations, and technical proposals;
• Mentor teams and establish best practices in test automation.

• 5+ Years of hands-on experience in Test Automation;
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, including Playwright and Cypress, and/or Python, including pytest and Robot Framework;
• Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch;
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and modern SDLC;
• Experience integrating automation into cloud environments such as AWS and Azure;
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to improve inefficient QA processes;
• Good communication skills;
• English at B2+ level;
• Nice to have: familiarity with AI-powered testing tools, performance or API testing experience, exposure to Docker and Kubernetes, experience in presales or client-facing roles.
