QA engineer (auto) in gaming

We are partnering with a pioneering industry leader in the gaming and systems development sector. Our Customer designs and delivers premium game content, award-winning systems, and state-of-the-art gaming hardware, providing world-class gaming experiences globally. The project involves working across a distributed portfolio of applications, focusing on implementing quality engineering best practices, improving QA efficiency, and extending automated test coverage.

• Design, write, and maintain automated test cases using industry-leading frameworks and tools.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, investigate test failures efficiently, and provide detailed reports and timely feedback to technology teams and stakeholders.
• Participate in regular code reviews and adopt best practices in coding, automation design, and quality engineering.
• Support the integration of automation suites into CI/CD processes and actively participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to clarify project requirements, ensure adequate test coverage, and contribute to team documentation and knowledge bases.

• Practical experience automating tests with tools such as Selenium, Appium, GameBench, TestComplete, or similar.
• Essential programming and scripting skills (Java).
• Clear understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative software development lifecycle.
• Basic experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Strong problem-solving ability, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
