QA engineer (auto) in fintech

Seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join one or more client projects within our Quality Engineering competence center. The Senior QA Engineer will assume technical responsibility for quality on client projects in the fintech, digital banking, or SaaS sectors. They will act as the QA reference point within the delivery team, defining testing strategies, leading execution, and ensuring the quality of every release. They will work autonomously in international distributed teams, coordinating with developers, product owners, and client stakeholders.

• Define and maintain end-to-end test strategies from requirements through release sign-off.
• Design test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices using tools such as TestRail, QASE, or Zephyr.
• Identify quality risks and propose mitigation strategies in each sprint.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility tests.
• Validate REST/SOAP APIs using Postman or SoapUI; verify data integrity in databases (SQL/MS SQL Server).
• Coordinate and execute performance tests with JMeter and production monitoring with DataDog.
• Perform basic security validations (pentests) before critical releases.
• Manage the defect lifecycle in Jira/HP ALM; prioritize with the team and follow up through closure.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies: planning, daily, retrospective, and demo.
• Contribute to QA process improvement initiatives: reducing the defect escape rate and automating quality gates.
• Develop and maintain automation suites with Playwright + TypeScript.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions).

• We are looking for semi-senior profiles with at least 3 years of experience and senior profiles with at least 5 to 7 years of experience in the role.
