qa engineer (auto) in automotive retail

• Develop and own an overarching quality strategy for microservices, microfrontends, and legacy systems;
• Build a modern, scalable testing landscape;
• Establish quality standards and processes;
• Enable developers to perform sustainable quality assurance;
• Ensure structure, stability, and quality across a growing software organization.

• Deep understanding of modern testing strategies, including the test pyramid, unit, component, contract, end-to-end, and performance testing;
• Very good TypeScript skills and practical experience with Playwright, Jest, and/or Vitest;
• Experience with microservice architectures, microfrontends, and API/contract testing;
• Expertise in building and evolving test automation and test frameworks;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps;
• Strong architecture and systems understanding, including legacy integration;
• Ability to coach developer teams and build a quality culture;
• Business-fluent German and English;
• Ownership, strong prioritization skills, and systems thinking;
• Nice to have: experience with domain-driven testing, knowledge of test data strategy and test environment management, experience with non-functional testing such as performance, security, and reliability, industry knowledge in automotive, ERP, or finance.
