QA engineer (auto) in API testing

• Analyse functional and technical requirements, identifying test scenarios, risks and acceptance criteria;
• Design, plan and execute functional, integration and API tests, ensuring adequate coverage of business requirements;
• Investigate defects by analysing data, SQL queries, application logs and integrations between systems, contributing to identifying the root cause of problems (Root Cause Analysis);
• Execute, validate and support the maintenance of existing automated tests, in collaboration with development and automation teams;
• Manage the defect lifecycle, including analysis, logging, reporting, retesting and validation of fixes in certification and production environments.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields;
• At least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and software testing, with a strong focus on functional, integration and API testing;
• Good knowledge of SQL, with the ability to analyse data and application logs and perform technical diagnostics (troubleshooting);
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Будет плюсом: Experience in API testing with tools such as Postman, SoapUI or equivalent; Knowledge of test and defect management tools such as Jira, Xray, HP Service Manager or equivalent; Basic knowledge of test automation and the ability to understand and maintain existing automated test scripts and frameworks; Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or similar; Experience analysing XML/JSON messages, REST services and integrations between systems; ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent; Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new Quality Assurance tools, technologies and processes

• Hybrid working arrangement (3 times per week in the office in Lisbon).
