QA engineer (auto) for web and mobile

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to define testing strategies and build scalable automation frameworks across web and mobile platforms. You will integrate quality controls into CI/CD pipelines and validate frontend, backend, APIs and data within modern, cloud-native applications.

• Design and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks covering web, mobile, APIs, backend services, databases and end-to-end business processes.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, improving coverage, execution reliability and reporting.
• Create and execute test plans, cases and scenarios across functional, integration, regression, system, exploratory and acceptance testing.
• Validate application behaviour across browsers, devices and operating systems.
• Verify performance, reliability, security and accessibility requirements.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, investigate root causes and report quality results.

• Minimum 6 years of proven experience in similar QA automation roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Postman/Newman, Jest, Vitest, Testing Library and Cucumber/BDD frameworks.
• Ability to write maintainable automation code using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js and Python.
• Experience with REST API testing, contract validation, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2/JWT authentication, service-level testing, mocking and service virtualization.
• Experience testing React and React Native applications, with knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience validating backend services developed with Node.js, NestJS and Python.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis, including database validation, data integrity testing, SQL query analysis and test data management.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, containerized testing environments and CI/CD integration; fluent Portuguese and English.
