qa engineer (auto) for payment platforms

The company provides financial services and develops payment platforms.

• Develop testing plans to verify product functionality before release;
• Test product functionality to ensure successful implementation according to requirements;
• Document, troubleshoot, and manage issues, bugs, and changes;
• Collaborate with engineering teams to reproduce issues identified during testing;
• Perform quality assurance and manual, end-to-end, and regression testing across multiple environments and platforms, including production;
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and regression tests;
• Work with developers to ensure reported software bugs and defects are resolved;
• Set up testing capabilities, including UAT;
• Collaborate with product owners to design measurable acceptance criteria and drive clear definitions of done.

• Higher degree in Computer Science, software engineering, or a similar field;
• At least two years of experience in software testing, including unit testing, integration testing, functionality testing, test automation, and mobile testing;
• Working experience with Postman, Cucumber Framework, Appium, and Selenium-based tools;
• Experience with at least one database: Oracle Database or MS SQL Server;
• Knowledge of Java and JavaScript;
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, test estimation, planning, and reporting;
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, written, and verbal communication skills;
• Highly organized with attention to detail;
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude;
• Self-directed and capable of prioritizing multiple QA tasks;
• Flexible, adaptable, and a fast learner.

• Office role in Baku, Azerbaijan.
