qa engineer (auto) for mobility services

- instinctools is a software development company that provides custom software solutions for businesses of all sizes. The client is a global mobility and urban services platform offering ride-hailing, intercity travel, delivery, and task assistance across more than 700 cities in 47 countries.

• Participate in all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept through deployment, by testing backend services and analyzing results to identify issues;
• Write API automated tests using Pytest or similar tools, and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentation;
• Identify, document, and track bugs through a bug tracking system;
• Perform regression testing to ensure stability after changes;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and TechOps to clarify requirements and improve quality management processes.

• Have 5+ years of total engineering experience, including 3+ years in automation and predominantly backend testing;
• Have strong Python and Pytest skills for writing test scripts;
• Have solid Linux and Bash experience;
• Understand Docker/Kubernetes and basic CI/CD;
• Be able to analyze backend service logs using Open Lens or similar tools;
• Be skilled in testing RESTful and gRPC APIs;
• Have basic SQL proficiency;
• Understand client-server and/or microservice architecture;
• Be familiar with the basics of Machine Learning and comfortable treating ML models as a black box for testing;
• Use AI assistants actively in daily work;
• Have strong team collaboration skills;
• Have Intermediate English (B1+);
• Nice to have: Experience with Kafka and Kibana, or willingness to quickly learn them.
