qa engineer (auto) for IntelliJ IDEA Java Build Tools

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scenarios across Linux, Windows, MacOS, Docker, and WSL
• Expand test coverage for new and existing functionality
• Debug and troubleshoot test failures
• Improve existing automation based on team feedback and reduce test flakiness
• Track quality metrics, including test coverage, failure rate, and flakiness
• Contribute product-specific extensions to frameworks and tools as needed
• Help the team monitor test execution results and investigate failures
• Participate in release quality assessments
• Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to define test strategies
• Perform manual QA activities when needed
• Contribute to test documentation
• Improve domain-specific test infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines within the team's scope
• Share automation best practices with the team
• Work with the tooling team to adopt new frameworks and practices

• Proven experience in test automation
• Solid programming skills in Kotlin or Java
• Experience with JUnit, TestNG, or similar test frameworks
• Familiarity with Maven and Gradle
• Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity
• Experience with reporting tools such as Allure
• Version control experience with Git
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Responsibility, self-discipline, and self-learning skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently, creatively, and on one's own initiative
