qa engineer (auto) for contact center infrastructure

• Co-design test strategies with the team for new features and refactorings;
• Implement and maintain automated tests in Kotlin at multiple levels;
• Challenge designs and technical solutions from a risk and testability perspective;
• Continuously improve pipelines, tooling, and test reliability;
• Take ownership of quality for a core platform domain and influence how safely and quickly the team ships.

• At least 6 years of experience, including at least 3 recent years as a test automation engineer using Java, Kotlin, Groovy, or Scala;
• Strong coding skills in a JVM language, ideally Kotlin or Java;
• Ability to read and understand production code, review merge requests, and write clean, maintainable automated tests;
• Strong system-level and architectural thinking, including understanding service interactions and data flows;
• Hands-on experience building test suites across unit, component/service, API, contract, integration, and UI/e2e levels;
• Ability to choose the appropriate testing level for each scenario;
• Preference for fast, reliable checks close to the code and limited use of e2e tests for critical flows and end-to-end risks;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test reporting, and quality gates;
• At least 1 year of experience with Selenium;
• Experience with UI, API, and database testing;
• Critical thinking and a bug-hunter mindset focused on edge cases, failure modes, and real user behavior;
• High curiosity and willingness to understand the product ecosystem, including infrastructure, messaging, integrations, and deployment pipelines;
• Strong autonomy and leadership potential;
• Excellent communication skills, proactivity, and self-learning.
