qa engineer (auto) for a hedge fund trading platform

The project is building a trading platform from the ground up for an innovative international top-tier hedge fund. It includes front-office systems for traders, pre-trade checks and analysis, intraday position management, order management and routing, risk and limit management, trading activity reports, FIX connectivity, and connectivity to market data providers such as Bloomberg B-pipe.

• Interact with business stakeholders, end users, developers, and other QA specialists
• Perform manual API testing
• Analyze logs and test results
• Work on backend automation
• Create test cases in TestRail
• Proactively contribute to process building
• Manually test the desktop trading platform

• 8+ Years of experience
• Willingness to perform manual testing
• Willingness to maintain and execute automation suites on a rotational basis
• Experience in backend manual testing
• Strong knowledge of test design
• Experience in stock exchange trading
• Strong knowledge of client-server software architecture
• Good understanding of backend systems and test data management
• Working knowledge of Java, Cucumber, and JavaScript
• Advanced UNIX CLI experience
• Debugging and troubleshooting skills for test failure analysis
• Working knowledge of REST, SOAP API, and SQL
