• Deep understanding of the testing pyramid and ability to select appropriate testing levels
• Basic knowledge of banking processes and financial transactions
• Understanding of microservices architecture, REST API, and gRPC
• Experience creating test cases, checklists, test plans, and testing strategies
• Requirements analysis, identifying gaps and inconsistencies, and shift-left testing practices
• Defect classification by severity and priority, and detailed bug reporting with logs and traces
• Experience testing REST and gRPC, including Protocol Buffers (protobuf), grpcurl, Postman gRPC, BloomRPC, or Kreya
• Experience with API contract testing, backward compatibility, and validation of headers, metadata, error codes, timeouts, and authentication interceptors
• Understanding of Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, partitions, retention, event ordering, and delivery
• Experience testing event-processing idempotency to prevent duplicate transactions and inconsistent states
• Advanced SQL (PostgreSQL) for data validation, transaction testing, integrity checks, and working with JSONB fields
• Experience testing iOS/Android applications across OS versions, screen sizes, physical devices, and emulators/simulators
• Experience testing application installation, updates, version migrations, and backend API compatibility
• Experience with Charles/Proxyman, Xcode, Android Studio, ADB, and device log analysis
• Experience developing and maintaining autotests for at least one testing level
• Experience with API/backend test automation, preferably in Go (Testify, GoMock), or Python/pytest, REST-assured, or Postman
• Experience with mock services, test data generation, and test environment management
• Knowledge of GitLab CI, including pipeline execution, test results, artifacts, and reports
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and deployment environments (dev/test/stage/prod-like)
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Golang programming skills and experience developing custom frameworks for autotesting
• Experience testing NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Cassandra/ScyllaDB), including search result and data validation
• Experience with distributed tracing and monitoring tools such as Jaeger, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Practical experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Experience with complex banking integrations and event-driven architectures
