Muse Group develops web, mobile, and desktop products.

• Own the quality engineering strategy across web, mobile, and desktop products;
• Build and evolve automation platforms, frameworks, and standards;
• Establish quality metrics and use them to drive engineering decisions;
• Improve test effectiveness, reliability, and feedback speed;
• Coach QA/SDET engineers and developers across teams without formal authority;
• Build tooling that enables developers and AI coding agents to create and maintain effective tests;
• Partner with engineering leadership on release risk and quality trade-offs.

• Demonstrated impact in transforming ineffective testing into automated testing that reliably gates releases, with measurable before-and-after results;
• Production experience across web, mobile, and desktop, with hands-on depth in at least two and architecture or review-level experience in the third;
• Experience with Playwright or an equivalent at scale, maintainable architecture, parallelization, and systematic flaky-test management;
• Experience with Maestro, Detox, Appium, or an equivalent, including release trains, staged rollouts, and reliable device or emulator CI;
• Experience with native desktop applications across Windows, macOS, and Linux, including visual regression;
• Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to choose the right testing approach;
• Experience establishing quality baselines, tracking meaningful trends, and validating that tests detect defects through mutation testing or equivalent practices;
• Experience operating large automated suites as real CI/CD gates, including required checks, branch protection, reliability, and feedback-speed trade-offs;
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding and test generation, such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar;
• Ability to distinguish generated tests that provide real protection from tests that only inflate coverage;
• Ability to grow engineers without line authority and demonstrate coaching impact;
• Ability to defend quality decisions with data and trade-offs, including deciding when to stop a release and when risk is acceptable;
• Upper-Intermediate English;
• Nice to have: C++/Qt.
