QA engineer (auto)

We are recruiting a QA Automation Engineer to join a team focused on the quality and reliability of software solutions. We are looking for someone with experience in functional, integration and API testing, able to analyze data, identify technical issues and collaborate with different teams to ensure applications and integrations between systems work correctly.

• Plan, prepare and execute functional, integration and API tests.
• Validate the functioning of applications and integrations between systems.
• Run SQL queries and analyze data, application logs and XML/JSON messages.
• Test APIs and REST services, using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Identify, document and track defects, collaborating with technical teams to resolve them.
• Use test and defect management tools, such as JIRA, Xray or equivalents.
• Support the maintenance of existing test automation scripts and frameworks.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Quality Assurance processes and practices.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing, focused on functional, integration and API testing.
• Good knowledge of SQL and ability to analyze data and logs.
• Experience testing APIs with Postman, SoapUI or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of test and defect management tools, such as JIRA, Xray or HP Service Manager.
• Basic knowledge of test automation and ability to understand and maintain existing scripts.
• Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java or equivalent.
• Experience analyzing XML/JSON messages, REST services and integrations between systems.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to learn, adapt to new technologies and pursue continuous improvement.
• Critical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
