FQA Games Tester (manual)

TransPerfect Games is looking for game testers to join us to provide client support on challenging test problems in a dynamic and exciting environment. You will be testing the next big hit game, from small independent development teams all the way to AAA game titles from industry heavyweights!

• Execute assigned test cases using predefined test runs while adhering to the test plan.
• Proactively suggest improvements to existing test cases, test suites, and execution approaches.
• Participate in test strategy discussions and provide constructive feedback.
• Professionally provide feedback on gameplay, fun factor, game balance, and overall player experience during project testing cycles, when requested by the client.
• Record test results, including observed behaviors, defects, and deviations from expected results.
• Collaborate with Automation Engineers to identify test cases suitable for automation and provide the necessary inputs for automation scripts.
• Report and track defects using a defect tracking system, providing accurate and detailed information to assist in defect resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Work closely with QA Engineers and QA Leads to clarify test execution details, raise concerns, and provide feedback on test coverage and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with QA Compliance Testers to ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements during testing.
• Continuously update and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test environments.
• Monitor and track test execution progress, providing timely status updates to relevant stakeholders.

Important Information

• Contract Type: Mandate contract.
• Right to Work: As a mandatory requirement, you must have the legal right to work in Warsaw, Poland, and be able to provide supporting documentation. You must be a Polish citizen, an EU member state citizen, a permanent resident, or hold a relevant work permit or visa to be considered for this position.
• Work Arrangement: This is an onsite position. You are required to work onsite during core business hours, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, at our office in Warsaw. You must be based in the Warsaw area or within commuting distance of our office.
• At least 1 year of solid professional experience in game testing or software QA testing.
• Excellent written communication skills, especially in English.
• Ability to execute test cases and follow predefined test plans and testing procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately identify, reproduce, and document defects.
• Ability to think critically and identify inconsistencies, unexpected behaviors, and potential quality issues.
• Ability to communicate testing results, defects, and observations clearly and professionally.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with QA team members and other project stakeholders.
• Ability to manage assigned workload and meet project deadlines.
• Availability to start immediately.
• Additional game testing experience.
• Experience with security testing or fuzzing tools.
• Experience with performance and stress testing tools and methodologies.
• Experience with accessibility testing.
• Experience with certification testing and/or lot checks.
• Experience with testing tools such as Fiddler, NetMon, etc.
• Experience with bug tracking systems such as ADO, JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
• Experience shipping software products or relevant certifications in game testing, design, engineering, etc.
