Firmware QA engineer (manual)

We are currently looking for a Firmware Quality Assurance Engineer (FWQA) to join a project where you will be responsible for validating the quality and proper functioning of firmware, running tests, identifying issues, and collaborating with software and hardware development teams to ensure product reliability. This is an opportunity to join an international team. For this reason, a high level of English is important.

• Run functional, integration, and regression tests to validate the quality and proper functioning of the firmware.
• Design, prepare, and execute test cases according to technical and functional requirements.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs and issues found during testing.
• Analyze logs and execution results to identify failures and unexpected behavior.
• Perform integration testing between firmware, software, and hardware.
• Validate new firmware versions and check that implemented changes do not affect existing functionality.
• Collaborate with firmware and hardware development teams to analyze and resolve issues.
• Document test results and prepare reports on detected defects.
• Run verification and validation tests after bugs are fixed.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures.
• Use issue management and test tracking tools, such as JIRA.

• High level of English (essential).
• Previous experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance (QA).
• Experience running manual tests and validating functionality.
• Knowledge of creating, executing, and documenting test cases.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs (Bug Reporting).
• Knowledge of functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Ability to analyze logs and identify potential operational errors.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience working with issue management tools, such as JIRA.
