Cattle Care is a California-based startup that utilizes Artificial Intelligence to enhance the revenue of dairy farms while reducing the usage of antibiotics and hormones. The technology optimizes farm efficiency and ensures high standards of animal welfare, currently monitoring approximately 800,000 cows in the US.

• Participate in manual testing for new features and exploratory testing to ensure quality beyond automation;
• Build and maintain API autotests in Python, pytest, and requests for high-value endpoints;
• Add and maintain E2E tests for Next.js applications;
• Improve test infrastructure, including stable CI runs, readable reporting, and test data strategy;
• Reduce flaky tests and improve diagnostics;
• Partner with backend and frontend engineers on defect reproduction, root-cause analysis, and quality gates;
• Contribute to release readiness through risk-based test plans, definition of done, and acceptance criteria.

• 3+ Years of recent experience as a QA Automation Engineer;
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with pytest;
• Solid understanding of HTTP/REST APIs, cookies/CSRF/session authentication, and negative testing;
• Experience running tests in CI/CD and maintaining suite stability;
• Ability to debug issues across the stack and communicate clearly with engineers;
• Nice to have: Playwright for UI/E2E automation, experience testing async/background processing, file uploads, long-running flows, and Docker/docker compose experience.
