Video Editor & Music Content Creative - MyGroove

Bring content to life.

We’re looking for a highly ambitious Editor & Social Media Content Creative to join our team. You’ll turn raw footage into scroll-stopping social media content and develop new formats from scratch that capture attention and build relevance across platforms.

In this role, you’ll take full ownership of how our brand shows up online. You’ll experiment constantly with ideas, angles, and storytelling, working hands-on to shape content that performs, resonates, and grows with the right audience.

Music is at the heart of this role. We’re looking for someone with an exceptional sense of rhythm, pacing, and musical timing. You understand how to translate music into visual storytelling, creating edits where every cut, transition, and movement feels intentional, emotionally engaging, and perfectly synchronized with the audio.

CONTENT CREATION & MUSIC-DRIVEN EDITING

You transform footage, photos, and creative assets into premium short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and emerging platforms. You own the entire editing process, including storytelling, pacing, sound design, color grading, motion graphics, and captioning.

Most importantly, you understand the critical role music plays in content. You know how to edit to rhythm, sync visuals with audio, and create edits where every cut feels intentional and emotionally engaging.

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT & FORMAT INNOVATION

You proactively develop and pitch original content formats, series, and storytelling concepts. By combining creativity, audience understanding, platform expertise, and cultural awareness, you continuously identify new opportunities to increase relevance, reach, and engagement.

SOCIAL CULTURE & TREND LEADERSHIP

You are immersed in digital culture and stay ahead of platform trends, emerging editing styles, audio trends, and creator formats. You proactively bring inspiration and best practices into the team and constantly seek opportunities to evolve our content approach.

COLLABORATION & PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION

You collaborate closely with marketing, content, and growth teams to ensure creative excellence and platform performance. Together with key stakeholders, you analyze content results, identify learnings, and continuously optimize creative output based on data and audience feedback.

CONTENT OPERATIONS & CREATIVE EXCELLENCE

You maintain a high standard of creative quality across all published content while ensuring efficient organization of assets and editing workflows. You embrace experimentation, continuously test new creative approaches, and refine ideas through rapid iteration and learning.

5+ years of professional experience in video editing, social media content production, music content, creator content, agency environments, or comparable creative roles.

A compelling showreel or portfolio is mandatory and must demonstrate high-quality editing work across social media formats. Applications without work samples will not be considered.

Advanced proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or comparable tools, with the ability to independently deliver polished content from raw footage to final export.

Exceptional understanding of rhythm, pacing, and music-driven storytelling. You know how to edit precisely to the beat, use music to build emotion and momentum, and create content where every cut feels intentional.

Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and digital content culture, with a proven ability to identify trends, develop engaging formats, and create content that drives audience engagement.

Additional Information

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.535 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
