• Conduct advanced technical SEO audits for large and complex websites, platforms, and international domain structures;
• Analyze crawling, indexing, and rendering to identify root causes of technical SEO and indexation issues;
• Work with modern JavaScript frameworks and rendering architectures, including SSR, CSR, SSG, and hybrid rendering;
• Analyze HTML, JavaScript, HTTP requests, response headers, status codes, redirects, canonicalization, and robots directives;
• Investigate and optimize crawl architecture, internal linking, and information architecture for websites with hundreds of thousands or millions of URLs;
• Advise on technical challenges involving migrations, replatforming, URL structures, faceted navigation, pagination, internationalization, and hreflang;
• Perform log file analysis to understand crawler interactions and improve crawl efficiency;
• Develop scripts, tooling, and automation for faster, more reliable, and scalable recurring analyses;
• Review technical solutions, specifications, and implementations from an SEO perspective before launch;
• Work with developers and engineering teams to translate SEO recommendations into technical requirements and tickets;
• Proactively improve workflows using tooling and AI;
• Improve SEO guidelines, workflows, and processes;
• Develop solutions for complex SEO challenges, including algorithm changes, large-scale site architecture, crawling, and automation;
• Build frameworks, templates, scripts, and automations for multiple clients and projects;
• Develop new approaches for challenges without standard solutions;
• Consider how solutions can be technically and organizationally implemented at scale;
• Help SEO specialists develop their technical capabilities;
• Act as a senior technical sparring partner for clients.

• 10+ Years of experience in Technical SEO solving complex challenges for large-scale, international, and/or enterprise websites;
• Currently based in the Netherlands and able to work from the WPP office in Amsterdam;
• Deep knowledge of modern website architecture, crawling, rendering, and indexing;
• Strong expertise in HTML, JavaScript, HTTP, web architecture, and rendering technologies;
• Experience with large and complex website architectures, crawling and indexation, faceted navigation, internationalization, migrations, internal linking, and crawl budget optimization;
• Ability to read code, manipulate data, work with APIs, and build scripts or technical solutions;
• Ability to turn complex technical findings into actionable recommendations for developers, product teams, architects, and senior stakeholders;
• Experience developing scalable frameworks, tooling, templates, or automations for multiple clients or projects;
• Proactive mindset and interest in AI, automation, emerging search technologies, and GEO;
• Fluent in English;
• Nice to have: Python and/or JavaScript scripting and automation, SQL, BigQuery or comparable data environments, Dutch.
