SEO Specialist

Big Group is an independent creative marketing agency that helps clients create memorable experiences, drive business results, innovate with technology, and build genuine communities. It became an Employee-Owned Trust in November 2022.

• Develop and deliver SEO strategies to drive organic visibility, traffic, and revenue across B2B, B2C, and eCommerce clients
• Own multiple SEO campaigns and identify growth opportunities through keyword, search intent, competitor, and content analysis
• Lead technical SEO activity, conduct audits, and resolve issues affecting website performance
• Support migrations, redesigns, and other large-scale projects
• Work with content teams to optimise content and authority strategies and adapt approaches for GEO, AEO, and AI-driven search
• Analyse SEO performance, report on results, and act as a strategic advisor to clients
• Develop and oversee link acquisition and authority-building initiatives
• Support new business pitches with SEO research and expertise
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities

• At least five years of SEO experience, including developing and leading SEO projects and strategies across multiple clients and sectors
• Experience conducting technical SEO audits and implementing recommendations
• Experience analysing data and translating findings into actionable recommendations
• Experience contributing to new business pitches and strategic growth initiatives
• Understanding of website SEO health and how to fix technical issues
• Strong knowledge of technical, on-page, off-page, local, and content-led SEO
• Strong understanding of website migrations, redirects, site architecture, indexation, and Core Web Vitals
• Highly analytical and data-driven, with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Salary of £34,000 - £39,000 per annum DOE
