SEO Specialist

Ariad is a digital consultancy and staffing firm that assists leading European brands with digital transitions. The company partners with major organizations to develop successful teams and create digital customer experiences. The client for this role is a global leader in consumer electronics that focuses on technology connecting people, ideas, and cultures.

• Develop and execute the SEO and GEO strategy to increase visibility across search engines and AI-powered search platforms;
• Own the SEO roadmap, defining priorities, initiatives, KPIs, and growth opportunities;
• Monitor performance and translate data, market trends, and search insights into actionable recommendations;
• Drive technical SEO improvements, including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, metadata, page speed, and structured data;
• Develop and optimize content strategies for traditional and AI-generated search experiences;
• Partner with development teams and agencies to implement SEO best practices and ensure alignment with business objectives;
• Support product launches and marketing campaigns with dedicated SEO and GEO strategies;
• Collaborate with Marketing, eCommerce, Product Management, and international stakeholders.

• 3+ Years of experience in SEO, Organic Search, or Digital Marketing;
• Proven experience developing and executing SEO strategies independently;
• Experience managing and directing external agencies;
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
• Solid understanding of technical SEO, including crawlability, metadata, site architecture, page speed, indexation, and structured data;
• Strong knowledge of content optimization, keyword research, content strategy, and information architecture;
• Experience with backlink strategies and authority-building initiatives;
• Understanding of AI Search, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and the impact of AI on search behavior;
• Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms, AI developments, and industry trends;
• Strong analytical skills with experience using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics;
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations;
• Comfortable operating independently and taking ownership;
• Fluent in Dutch and English;
• Nice to have: Experience in a comparable role.
