Product Marketing & User Engagement (Beca FUO)

Are you passionate about communication, technology, and connecting people? We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Product Marketing & User Engagement Intern to support the growth and adoption of AIVA, our internal digital application used across manufacturing sites globally.

In this role, you will help drive internal communication campaigns, engage with users from around the world, promote new application features, gather feedback, and contribute to building a strong global community of AIVA users and champions. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to digital products, software development processes, change management, and global manufacturing operations while working with a diverse international team.

Our Global Digital Manufacturing Solutions team develops and supports digital applications that help manufacturing sites improve processes, collaboration, and operational excellence. One of these solutions is AIVA, an internal application used by teams across IFF's global manufacturing network.

The internship role will support the Global team and can be based in Oviedo, Asturias, or Barcelona, Spain, depending on the selected candidate and university agreement. Your creativity, communication skills, and ideas will help shape how users engage with digital solutions worldwide.

Program Details (Internship Program)

- Duration: Minimum 6 months, up to 12 months, depending on the university internship agreement.

- Location: Oviedo (Asturias) or Barcelona (Spain), depending on the selected candidate.

- Format: Hybrid – 3 days on site / 2 days remote.

- Working hours: Flexible schedule to be aligned with the candidate's academic requirements and internship agreement.

- Monthly allowance: 800 EUR gross

- Eligibility: Students or recent graduates eligible to participate in a university internship program. The selected candidate's university must be able to provide an internship agreement with a duration of at least 6 months.

- Function: Digital Manufacturing Solutions / Product Marketing & User Engagement.

- Reports to: Product Owner, Digital Manufacturing Solutions Team.

Internal Communication & Product Promotion

• Create engaging communications about new AIVA features, enhancements, success stories, and best practices.
• Prepare newsletters, announcements, intranet posts, user spotlights, and promotional materials.
• Support communication campaigns that increase awareness and adoption of AIVA across global manufacturing sites.
• Help translate technical updates into clear and engaging messages for end users.

User Engagement & Community Building

• Build relationships with AIVA users across different sites and functions worldwide.
• Support the creation and growth of a global community of AIVA users and champions.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing activities and encourage collaboration between sites.
• Help identify and showcase successful user stories and beneficial use cases.

User Feedback & Adoption

• Conduct informal interviews and feedback sessions with users.
• Gather feedback, improvement ideas, and business needs from manufacturing sites.
• Help onboard new users and provide guidance on application functionalities.
• Support feature adoption activities by helping users understand and utilize newly released capabilities.

Content Creation & Training Support

• Create presentations, feature highlights, training materials, user guides, FAQs, and communication assets.
• Develop videos, tutorials, and other engaging content to support user enablement.
• Support demonstrations and presentations of new functionalities to user groups.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure users are informed about product improvements.

Exposure to Digital Product Development

• Participate in team meetings and gain visibility into software development processes.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders from around the world.
• Learn how digital products are designed, developed, released, and adopted within a global manufacturing organization.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Innovation Management, Information Systems, or a related field with interest in this type of role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent English and Spanish is required, as most interactions will take place in an international environment.
• Confident engaging with stakeholders across different functions and organizational levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing, approachable personality.
• Interest in communications, marketing, change management, employee engagement, or digital products.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel.
• Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple activities simultaneously.
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced global environment.

• Additional language skills are a plus.
• Experience with Canva, SharePoint, video editing, content creation, or digital communication tools.
• Participation in student associations, ambassador programs, international projects, or community-building initiatives.
• Knowledge of storytelling, marketing campaigns, or audience engagement strategies.
• Interest in digital transformation, software applications, manufacturing technologies, or user experience.
• Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and confidence in proposing new ideas.
