Product Marketing Manager

• Develop positioning, messaging, and product stories for Rider, ReSharper, dotUltimate, and related .NET developer experiences;
• Turn complex technical capabilities and developer workflows into launch stories, product pages, blog posts, case studies, video scripts, and campaign assets;
• Own product and feature marketing for key capabilities and shape developer-facing stories from product priorities and product manager input;
• Coordinate selected release marketing workflows, including planning and producing What’s New content;
• Build understanding of .NET developers, their workflows, customer needs, market trends, and community conversations to shape priorities and campaigns;
• Develop and execute developer-focused campaigns, defining audiences, messages, channels, assets, and success measures;
• Extend product stories beyond release day through follow-up content, campaigns, customer stories, and amplification;
• Measure the performance of launches, content, and campaigns, share learnings, and adjust the approach;
• Tell the evolving story of professional developer tools as AI changes how software is built, including agent and code intelligence workflows;
• Write articles, test features, build briefs, edit landing pages, and capture product visuals on demo projects.

• Practical experience in technical product marketing, developer marketing, or a comparable role for a technical software product;
• Ability to understand software development and translate technical capabilities into developer benefits;
• Proven experience bringing software products, features, or releases to market within frequent release cycles;
• Solid understanding of positioning, messaging, audience segmentation, channel selection, and campaign measurement;
• Excellent written and spoken English;
• High technical curiosity and respect for developer workflows and software craft;
• Ability to take ownership, make independent decisions, and carry ambiguous opportunities through execution;
• Ability to ask good questions and challenge assumptions constructively;
• Clear, direct communication style and ability to explain complex technical ideas credibly;
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple workstreams and collaborating across distributed teams;
• Pragmatic approach balancing strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and hands-on execution;
• Nice to have: experience with developer tools, IDEs, APIs, SDKs, cloud or developer infrastructure, DevOps, or products for software developers; hands-on development experience or regular work with code and developer tooling; knowledge of C#, .NET, Rider, ReSharper, Visual Studio, VS Code, or related developer ecosystems; experience marketing AI-assisted development tools or familiarity with coding agents and AI developer workflows; technical content creation including case studies, tutorials, product videos, demos, technical articles, or developer-focused campaigns; experience working with developer communities or technical customers through webinars, interviews, or customer conversations.
