Head of Marketing

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to drive demand and profitable growth for LeasingMarkt.de. You will lead a five-person team, take ownership of a substantial marketing budget and work closely with the LeasingMarkt leadership team to turn business priorities into measurable results.

Your focus will be performance marketing and the commercial value it creates. Reporting into Autonex’s performance marketing organisation, you will combine dedicated ownership of LeasingMarkt’s demand generation with access to Group expertise and shared capabilities. Brand and SEO sit with central teams, with whom you will collaborate closely.

• Keep lead generation strong and improve its commercial impact. Align campaigns and spend with the leasing offers coming onto the marketplace, working closely with Commercial, Product and Engineering.
• Own the marketing budget and channel mix. Connect spend to leads and revenue, identify gaps in the current approach and test opportunities to improve existing channels or develop new ones.
• Lead and develop a five-person team covering performance marketing, campaign management and sales. Set clear priorities, support specialist development and stay close enough to the work to challenge decisions and help solve problems.
• Bring demand analytics, dashboards and budget steering into line with Group standards. Build a consistent view of performance that supports clear decisions and communication with senior stakeholders.
• Work with Analytics, Product and Engineering to improve tracking and attribution, including the planned move to server-side tracking. Translate business questions into clear measurement requirements.
• Help shape how local and central marketing capabilities work together. Bring practical ideas for AI and automation, experiment with the team and adopt approaches that improve marketing performance.

• In-house marketing experience and experience leading a marketing team in a B2C business where marketing spend is closely linked to revenue. A background in e-commerce, a marketplace or a comparable consumer business is particularly relevant.
• Hands-on experience managing at least one performance marketing channel, followed by broader leadership responsibility. You understand how campaigns work in practice and can guide specialists across channels.
• Strong commercial and analytical judgement. You can interpret complex data, understand the economics behind performance and turn your findings into clear priorities and actions.
• Clear, confident communication with senior stakeholders. You can explain recommendations, challenge assumptions constructively and act as a trusted partner to the LeasingMarkt leadership team.
• Experience with tracking, attribution and marketing measurement, and the ability to work effectively with Analytics and technical teams to improve them.
• An adaptable, hands-on approach and experience working in a fast-moving environment. You have started using AI in your work and are curious about how it can improve marketing.
• Fluency in English and a good level of German, with the ability to collaborate across local and international teams. You are willing to travel regularly between Düsseldorf and Berlin.
• A consulting background or similar experience in commercial analysis and structured problem-solving is a plus. An understanding of SEO is also valuable for collaborating with central specialists.
