• Own research into user needs, current product behaviour, and the competitive landscape;
• Turn findings into a clear and defensible product thesis;
• Produce high-fidelity, build-ready designs and clickable prototypes using AI design tools;
• Define the end-to-end user journey from feature discovery to repeat use;
• Keep new surfaces consistent with the existing product design system and patterns;
• Own a prioritised backlog with clear sequencing, scope, and realistic timelines;
• Write developer-ready specifications with acceptance criteria, edge cases, and measurable outcomes;
• Run planning and delivery with the engineering team through verified release;
• Verify shipped work against specifications and reject work below standard;
• Define the feature metric tree covering discovery, activation, task completion, and repeat use;
• Own the experiment roadmap by prioritising, instrumenting, analysing results, and acting on them;
• Build and maintain decision-making dashboards;
• Collaborate with the Managing Director to align the roadmap with business goals.

• 5+ Years of product management experience with live consumer web products and a substantial active user base;
• Proven experience shipping a significant new capability inside an existing product;
• Ability to independently conduct user research, behavioural analysis, and competitor analysis;
• Advanced daily use of AI tools to create high-fidelity, build-ready designs and clickable prototypes without a dedicated designer;
• Strong quantitative skills in funnels, cohorts, and experiment design using Mixpanel, Amplitude, or an equivalent product analytics tool;
• Working SQL skills;
• Experience writing technical specifications and managing backlog and sprint delivery end to end using Jira, Linear, Notion, or an equivalent;
• Technical fluency to discuss implementation trade-offs credibly with engineers;
• Evidence-driven approach with data or testing behind defended product decisions;
• Highly structured approach to building repeatable research, specification, and experiment systems;
• Comfortable being the only product person in the room and making decisions independently;
• Clear, direct communication and effectiveness in a remote environment.
