• Oversee the daily operations of the PM team;
• Monitor routine work, project statuses, and delivery standards;
• Maintain oversight of the goals, scope, and status of all active projects;
• Monitor client mood and satisfaction across projects;
• Support Project Managers during critical client escalations and project roadblocks;
• Build a stable system that minimizes firefighting;
• Build and maintain a structured system for the PM department;
• Audit and improve internal business processes;
• Create and update guides, playbooks, and SOPs;
• Take responsibility for onboarding new Project Managers;
• Ensure new Project Managers adapt to Appello's standards and workflows.

• Proven experience as a Head of PMO, Delivery Manager, or Lead Project Manager in a software development agency or IT outsourcing company;
• Deep understanding of managing multiple parallel projects and working with external clients;
• Strong ability to build systems from the ground up and document processes clearly;
• Exceptional conflict resolution and client-facing skills;
• Ability to balance strategic oversight with involvement in project details when a Project Manager needs support;
• Fluent English and Russian.
