Project manager in software delivery

An established financial technology business is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of software delivery projects for clients across the financial services sector. You'll manage a variety of projects, including major software implementations, client-led product changes, upgrades and enhancements. Working closely with clients, software developers and technical teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed expectations.

• Lead the delivery of complex software implementation and technology projects.
• Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, resources and deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate software development and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Manage project risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring challenges are addressed proactively.
• Oversee project documentation, reporting and commercial commitments.
• Drive continuous improvements across project delivery.

• At least 5+ years' experience managing complex software or technology projects.
• Experience delivering software implementations, upgrades or product enhancements.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycles and release management.
• Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Commercial awareness, including project budgets, forecasting and contractual deliverables.
• Strong client management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage challenging situations and confidently influence stakeholders.
