project manager in operations consulting

The client is an operations consulting company that helps small businesses improve internal processes, build scalable business systems, and optimize operations through fractional COO services.

• Manage multiple client projects and keep them on track, efficient, within deadlines, and profitable;
• Lead weekly client meetings and conduct discovery sessions to understand business processes and operational challenges;
• Analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recognize opportunities for improvement;
• Organize and simplify large amounts of information and communicate findings clearly to clients;
• Help design and develop business systems and processes based on each client's specific needs;
• Take ownership of projects and independently solve operational problems;
• Coordinate with internal team members responsible for strategy, documentation, process mapping, and technical implementation;
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, communication, and overall project progress;
• Ensure effective communication between clients and internal team members.

• Experience in project management, operations consulting, business operations, or a related field;
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Ability to understand complex business processes and identify areas for improvement;
• Strong organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously;
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
• Ability to communicate effectively with U.S.-based clients and understand detailed business discussions;
• Highly organized and process-oriented;
• Proactive and resourceful in solving problems;
• Able to take ownership and work independently;
• Comfortable processing large amounts of information and turning it into clear, actionable solutions;
• Strong communicator who can build effective relationships with clients;
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, project-based environment;
• Nice to have: Experience working with small businesses or consulting clients, experience designing or improving business processes and systems, experience with process mapping and workflow optimization, experience with ClickUp, Propel, Miro, or similar project management and process-mapping tools.

• Part-time role with flexible working hours based on project workload;
• Approximately 15–20 hours per week during slower periods and 30–40 hours per week with a full project portfolio;
• Availability for core client meeting hours, generally between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM Mountain Time;
• Payment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate's preference;
• Full-time remote opportunity;
• Training will be provided on the company's specific systems and software.
