Project manager in insurance

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in the London Market insurance sector to lead and deliver technology and business change initiatives focused on Policy Administration Systems (PAS) and premium processing. This is an excellent opportunity for a project professional who understands the complexities of the London Market and has hands-on experience delivering projects involving policy administration, premium processing and the wider insurance lifecycle.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects involving Policy Administration Systems and premium processing.
• Manage system implementations, upgrades, enhancements and integrations across the insurance technology landscape.
• Work closely with underwriting, operations, finance, premium processing and technology teams to understand business requirements.
• Drive improvements to policy administration processes, premium workflows and associated operational procedures.
• Manage project plans, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing, data migration and implementation activities.
• Work with third-party technology providers and internal delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automate processes and enhance the overall policy and premium lifecycle.
• Provide clear project reporting and updates to senior stakeholders.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of the London Market insurance environment.
• Demonstrable experience working on Policy Administration Systems (PAS), including implementations, upgrades or transformation projects.
• Experience delivering projects involving premium processing and associated insurance finance workflows.
• Good understanding of the insurance lifecycle, including policy administration, endorsements, renewals, premiums and settlements.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and engaging with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong project governance, planning, risk management and delivery skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
