• Lead and manage large-scale, complex projects from initiation to closure, including digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency;
• Act as the primary contact for C-level executives, department heads, and external vendors;
• Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide transparent reporting on project status, risks, and KPIs;
• Ensure project deliverables comply with financial industry regulations and standards, including BaFin requirements, MaRisk, DORA, GDPR, and ECB guidelines;
• Allocate resources across multiple workstreams;
• Forecast, track, and manage project budgets to maximize ROI;
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues;
• Develop contingency plans to support seamless project execution;
• Champion project management best practices and apply methodologies tailored to project needs;
• Provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to junior project managers, business analysts, and project team members.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field;
• 7–10 Years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in financial services such as banking, asset management, insurance, or fintech;
• Ability to turn complex technical or regulatory information into clear, actionable insights for C-level executives and steering committees;
• Exceptional presentation skills and confidence delivering difficult news or status updates transparently and constructively;
• Ability to lead, motivate, and drive accountability in cross-functional teams without formal disciplinary authority;
• Collaborative leadership style that promotes psychological safety, continuous improvement, and open feedback;
• Emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm, focused, and objective in high-stakes situations;
• Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and align stakeholders with competing priorities;
• Strong negotiation skills to secure resources, manage scope creep, and reach consensus without compromising project integrity or regulatory standards;
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments and adapting to changing market conditions or regulatory requirements;
• Active certification in standard project management frameworks and Agile methodologies;
• Business-fluent German and English;
• Comfort working with AI tools, critically evaluating AI outputs, and contributing to responsible AI practices;
• Nice to have: PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA Level B/C, Scrum Master, SAFe certifications.
