Project manager in advertising and sponsoring

MB Capital Services GmbH, with around 75 employees, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Messe Berlin GmbH. We are a reliable partner for organizing and implementing successful concepts for participation in international events, trade fairs, congresses, and other events. We professionally support our customers on site in Berlin and internationally with their trade fair presence. Our portfolio includes the management and implementation of creative design and system exhibition stands, the marketing of advertising and sponsorship, and the coordination of staff and ticketing. Providing extensive services for all exhibitors and customers of Messe Berlin GmbH is our core task, which we pursue with passion.

• Actively sell existing onsite and online advertising measures and sponsorships to exhibitors and partners of events such as trade fairs and congresses
• Handle various customer and agency inquiries, then evaluate them and derive appropriate advertising measures
• Negotiate with customers, service providers, and cooperation partners
• Prepare presentations and individual customer proposals
• Prepare cost analyses and price calculations
• Manage the operational implementation of numerous advertising measures: coordinate, schedule, and review processes through close collaboration with internal and external service providers
• Prepare contract documents and invoices, maintain data in the CRM, and document advertising appearances
• Develop new marketing strategies and advertising opportunities, identify trends, conduct relevant feasibility studies, and then implement new developments
• Communicate with customers and identify potential to establish and expand relationships with new advertising customers and sponsors for all Advertising & Sponsoring products
• Conduct benchmarking and competitor analyses relating to products, services, and processes

• Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification
• First professional experience in marketing and/or sales
• Very good communication skills, negotiating skills, and confidence in giving presentations, combined with relevant methodological expertise in sales in German (at least level C1) and English (at least B2); additional language skills are an advantage
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Confident use of CRM software
