Project manager for software rollouts and migrations

As Senior Project Manager – Rollout & Migration, you will strengthen our DevOps team and manage customer-related rollout and migration projects implemented alongside our regular product development.

• End-to-end management and coordination of complex rollout and migration projects for our entire customer base, taking into account different modules, licensing models, and configurations
• Aligning rollout and migration activities with regular product development and central coordination between Engineering/DevOps, software development, Customer Integration Services, and Customer Support
• Working closely with the Program Manager to align schedules, team capacities, and goals and ensure clear responsibilities
• Creating and maintaining project, rollout, and schedule plans, as well as risk and action lists
• Identifying and actively managing risks, dependencies, and challenges at an early stage, especially with regard to schedules and customer experience
• Managing trade-offs, for example between scope and schedule, and escalating and aligning with relevant stakeholders as needed
• Planning and managing change communications for migrations and technical transitions
• Continuously developing our rollout playbooks, standards, and processes

• At least five years of project management experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS or software company, as well as a proven track record of responsibility for complex, cross-functional technical rollout, migration, or implementation projects
• Experience in lean, agile team-of-teams structures or working closely with such structures, and effectively aligning with higher-level program roles
• Extensive experience in cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, DevOps, and customer-facing areas such as Customer Support and Customer Integration Services
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to connect technical and business perspectives
• Strong organizational skills and experience managing several workstreams in parallel with different customer configurations
• An independent, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
• Fluent English and good German skills
