UNDP Georgia supports democratic governance initiatives that strengthen the protection, inclusion, economic empowerment, and civic participation of vulnerable communities across Georgia. задачи
Manage, coordinate, and supervise project implementation;
Ensure implementation of project activities in line with project documents and UNDP rules and regulations;
Develop annual activity, procurement, and budget work plans and monitor delivery;
Provide direction and guidance to the Project Team;
Build, motivate, and lead the project team and conduct performance assessments;
Identify linkages with related projects and maximize resource efficiency;
Manage project budgets, financial allocations, expenditures, and payments;
Apply UNDP programming tools and policies;
Coordinate recruitment of project personnel;
Ensure proper use and maintenance of project equipment, records, and documentation;
Ensure compliance with security and safety requirements;
Coordinate activities related to equality, inclusion, civic participation, youth engagement, and community resilience;
Provide conceptual guidance and technical advice to the Project team and counterparts;
Guide the design and delivery of assistance to CSOs, CBOs, and relevant stakeholders;
Participate in project committees, policy and capacity development groups, technical meetings, consultations, and public events;
Mainstream policy work across project field work and relevant UNDP interventions;
Provide strategic advice on equality, inclusion, human rights, youth participation, and civic engagement;
Lead preparation of policy briefs, analytical papers, concept notes, and knowledge products;
Review project schedules, deliverables, budgets, and progress against annual work plans;
Monitor and analyze project progress, risks, issues, and the project environment;
Submit project risks and issues to the donor when required and maintain risk logs;
Ensure timely submission of project progress, narrative, financial, and other required reports;
Advise on strategy adjustments and corrective actions;
Conduct field visits and quality checks of project events, sites, and activities;
Prepare analytical reviews, capture lessons learned, and identify follow-up actions;
Ensure dissemination and visibility of project achievements;
Support continuous learning and knowledge management within the project team;
Mainstream project results, knowledge tools, and products across relevant interventions;
Manage the transfer of project deliverables, documents, files, equipment, and materials to national beneficiaries;
Mainstream gender equality across project activities, plans, budgets, reports, research, and analysis;
Incorporate gender equality knowledge into project knowledge management activities and products;
Establish and maintain relationships with institutional, organizational, state, local, and international partners;
Encourage stakeholder participation and ownership among national counterparts;
Identify and support synergetic initiatives and stakeholder contributions;
Promote cooperation and synergy with the International Community;
Perform other duties within the functional profile as necessary.
требования
Advanced university degree in Law, Political Science, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Gender Studies, International Relations, Development Studies, or another relevant field;
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field may be accepted with two additional years of experience;
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree or 4 years with a Bachelor’s degree;
Experience implementing projects related to equality, inclusion, human rights, and empowerment of vulnerable and underrepresented groups;
Experience working with women, youth, LGBTI persons, ethnic and religious minorities, and civil society organizations;
Experience working with governments, donors, and the United Nations system;
Experience engaging and building partnerships with CSOs, CBOs, development partners, donors, academia, and other stakeholders;
Fluency in English;
Fluency in Georgian;
Nice to have: Experience in policy analysis and development programme management, experience integrating gender equality, social inclusion, human rights, and the Leave No One Behind principle into programmes and projects, experience using project management and Results-Based Management tools, experience working with UNDP, United Nations agencies, international organizations, donors, government institutions, CSOs, and CBOs.
