Project Manager

Siemens Energy is an energy technology company that develops reliable and sustainable energy systems. Its Grid Technology division provides solutions for HVDC transmission, grid stabilization and storage, high voltage switchgears and transformers, and digital grid technology.

• Lead large-scale turnkey projects for high-voltage substations serving data centers and energy storage systems, supported by multiple sub-project managers;
• Represent Siemens Energy professionally to internal and external stakeholders and align projects with business objectives;
• Oversee project team capacity planning, workload distribution, performance management, and continuous team development;
• Ensure adequate staffing of project teams according to project requirements and organizational goals;
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, permits, standards, and regulations, acting as a key technical authority within the project;
• Contribute to the development of the data center business strategy with the sub-region leadership team.

• Hold a Master’s degree in engineering, science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification combined with many years of relevant professional experience in project management;
• Have a proven track record in executing large-scale turnkey projects, including solid international project management experience;
• Have strong knowledge of international contract frameworks such as FIDIC or comparable standards;
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, strong problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and clear communication;
• Take initiative and demonstrate strong communication capabilities;
• Be fluent in English;
• Be proficient in German.
