Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.


We are looking for a new Project Manager employee to be based in either Blackburn or Kendal.
Reporting to the Head of Projects (Modular) EMEA, this role is responsible for delivering Modular projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role leads projects through the full lifecycle from design and manufacture through FAT, logistics, delivery, and site integration, while ensuring commercial performance and customer satisfaction.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage multiple high-value Modular projects, taking full ownership for delivery to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
- Lead delivery across the full Modular project lifecycle, including design, manufacture, FAT, logistics, delivery sequencing, and site integration.
- Own project commercial performance, including cost control, profitability, variations, invoicing, final accounts, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and site operations to ensure delivery alignment.
- Control, monitor, and report project performance, implementing interventions where required to achieve project objectives.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change control processes, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and third-party partners.
- Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, current, and stored appropriately.
- Provide accurate project reporting and forecasting in line with business governance requirements.
- Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned and the adoption of best practices.
- Support and mentor project team members where required to drive consistent delivery standards.
