product manager for asset management

• Collaborate with the Business Product Owner in a shared responsibilities model;
• Manage business requirements and consult the business to fulfill business strategy using market and technical innovation knowledge;
• Develop, customize, and maintain SimCorp Dimension, especially in fund accounting under IFRS9 and HGB;
• Own the full service life cycle for the products and services, including operational processes, KPIs, service levels, upgrades, releases, and housekeeping;
• Plan and align the product roadmap with the business based on target architecture, including technical and security refactoring;
• Initiate projects and implement change requests;
• Plan and execute product releases and conduct sign-off procedures;
• Ensure the secure and stable operation of the product in production, including vulnerability and disaster recovery testing;
• Manage product costs and involved external staff, including procurement and provider management;
• Engage MR standard ITSM processes for the services, including Incident, Problem, and Change, using ServiceNow;
• Conduct quarterly SLA meetings and provide SLA reporting;
• Monitor and analyze service quality and identify service optimization opportunities.

• Fluency in business English;
• University degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Engineering, IT, or a similar field;
• Experience with SimCorp Dimension;
• At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar position;
• Familiarity with asset and investment management processes;
• Customer orientation and strong customer communication skills;
• Ability to present complex operational aspects and architectures clearly and precisely;
• Familiarity with analytical and conceptual work involving complex application operation landscapes and architectures;
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, operations, development, and technical architecture;
• Strong assertiveness, self-organized and proactive attitude;
• Target orientation and willingness to learn;
• Strong planning, organizational, and negotiation skills;
• Good mediation skills;
• Nice to have: good command of business German, experience with back-office functionalities such as performance management, direct investments, Crystal Reports, SQL, and additional Asset Management applications.
