Менеджер проекта

The International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) is an intergovernmental organization of 35 member states that supports sustainable democracy worldwide through policy-relevant knowledge, capacity development, advocacy, and the convening of dialogues. The organization combines research, global knowledge tools, and technical assistance to support democratic reform and influence policies at national and global levels.

• Manage and coordinate assigned projects and activities under the Ukraine programme portfolio;
• Lead the design, planning, implementation, monitoring, and learning of assigned projects;
• Develop and update workplans, activity plans, and timelines;
• Monitor political, electoral, parliamentary, and socio-economic developments in Ukraine;
• Identify and manage operational, political, security, and reputational risks;
• Identify emerging needs and programmatic opportunities in consultation with counterparts and partners;
• Contribute to the development of project concepts, concept notes, and funding proposals;
• Maintain and develop partnerships with key stakeholders, including the Central Election Commission and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine;
• Represent the organization in meetings, coordination platforms, and public events;
• Prepare thematic briefs, analytical notes, and presentations;
• Manage the engagement of external consultants, experts, and service providers;
• Lead programme and budget planning and monitor budget execution;
• Ensure oversight of project funds in accordance with donor agreements and internal regulations;
• Lead monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes in alignment with results-based management systems.

• University degree, preferably post-graduate, in political science, law, international relations, or public administration;
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in strengthening democracy and accountability in Ukraine;
• Experience in electoral assistance, parliamentary support, FIMI, rule of law, and human rights-related fields;
• Demonstrated experience in conceptualization, formulation, and management of project activities;
• Proven experience in fundraising and project design;
• Demonstrated experience in report writing under a results-based management system;
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Ukrainian;
• Nice to have: Experience of working in an international context.

• Fixed term appointment for one year;
• Must be legally authorized to live and work in Ukraine for the duration of the contract.
