IT Operations Manager

Planet VPN is a cybersecurity company that builds privacy and security solutions used by millions of people worldwide.

• Issue, modify, and revoke access to services and systems, and maintain a regularly reviewed access registry
• Run end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, including password manager and 2FA administration
• Manage equipment procurement and lifecycle, including requests, specifications, vendors, delivery, and asset records
• Administer company accounts with data centers and hosting providers, order nodes on request from the technical team, and track configurations, renewals, and unused capacity
• Maintain an inventory of rented infrastructure and subscriptions, including providers, accounts, legal entities, expiration dates, and costs
• Source and evaluate infrastructure providers, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain backup provider options
• Manage provider-side risks by selecting reliable providers, handling abuse complaints, monitoring and rotating IP reputation and IP pools, and keeping migration plans ready
• Set up accounts and payments, select legal entities with finance and legal, complete KYC, manage corporate cards and transfers, resolve failed payments, and collect closing documents
• Track infrastructure and service spending against budget and identify savings opportunities
• Maintain internal documentation and playbooks for access management, capacity ordering, and payments

• At least 3 years of experience in system administration or IT operations; product-company and distributed-team experience is preferred
• Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 at the organizational level, including full-scale migrations
• Solid understanding of networking and hosting fundamentals, including IP addressing and subnets, DNS, VPN, and basic routing
• Experience working directly with infrastructure providers, including placing orders, tracking usage, managing tickets, and negotiating terms
• Ability to build and maintain clear, auditable access registries, asset inventories, and infrastructure logs
• Experience running or improving access-control processes that measurably reduce security risk
• Ability to manage multiple vendor relationships and contracts while tracking renewals and costs
• Familiarity with AI or automation tools for streamlining repetitive IT operations, such as access provisioning or reporting
• Strong cross-functional communication skills; able to work with finance and legal on entity selection, KYC, and payments, and with engineering on capacity needs
• Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment and owning problems end to end
• Comfortable navigating multiple legal entities and jurisdictions when structuring provider accounts and payments
• Upper-Intermediate (B2) English or higher, written and spoken
