The Purpose:

Our Treasury team runs PPRO's global own and client money flows: more than 40 currencies and an annual run rate of more than €15 billion. We manage PPRO's banking relationships, bring bank-based products to life and are PPRO's face to the financial markets.

We work closely with the business and its finance teams to find where Treasury can add value, then help shape and deliver the product solutions that follow. Treasury is built into our product suite, so to keep building powerful products for our clients, our own treasury capabilities have to be excellent.

You'll sit at the point where banks, internal IT and Treasury meet, and make sure all three work as one. You'll lead our EMEA Treasury Operations team, own cash and liquidity management for both client and business funds and help build our global Treasury Operations organisation as we scale.

It's a role for someone who thinks big and strategically but is happy to dive deep into the detail when it matters. You'll earn trust quickly, learn fast and partner confidently with colleagues, banks and vendors at every level of seniority.

• Leading, coaching and developing our EMEA Treasury Operations team (three people), including setting priorities, structure and succession plans
• Owning cash and liquidity management for For Benefit Of (FBO) client funds and PPRO's own business funds
• Shaping and building our global Treasury Operations organisation
• Running projects and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver them
• Driving technical improvements across Treasury Operations and coordinating them with IT
• Owning system maintenance, support and incident management, with clear ownership and backup cover so nothing falls through the gaps
• Being our subject matter expert on bank connectivity and payment formats
• Standardising and harmonising our connectivity suite, including Application Programming Interface (API), host-to-host (H2H) and EBICS
• Playing a key role in implementing our global Treasury Management System (TMS)
• Turning external functional requirements into clear internal specifications for system development

• Five or more years of experience in treasury, banking or finance
• Proven people leadership, ideally including experience in a payments company
• Strong knowledge of institutional banking, corporate treasury and payment formats
• Advanced technical knowledge of treasury systems such as 360T, FXall, TIS, Kyriba or Quantum
• A track record of meeting deadlines while running several projects at once
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• An MBA or progress through the CFA Program is a plus
