reconciliations and payments analyst in payment operations

The Reconciliation team ensures that client balances are backed by cash held in the bank and supports payment operations.

• Monitor daily reconciliations, check that bank cash matches client balances in internal systems, and flag and investigate discrepancies
• Resolve reconciliation breaks end-to-end by identifying internal or external causes and coordinating with engineering, banks, and third-party payment providers
• Maintain vendor, regulatory, and other recurring reporting, including month-end close
• Use Excel and data visualization tools to monitor and track reconciliation data
• Contribute to automating manual reconciliation processes with AI and other tools, reducing reliance on spreadsheets
• Handle occasional manual money transfers accurately
• Coordinate with engineering, treasury, and external banking partners to keep processes running smoothly

• Hands-on experience in reconciliation, payment operations, or treasury operations, such as reconciliation specialist, payment analyst, or accountant with reconciliation experience
• Comfortable using Excel and some data visualization or BI tools
• Working understanding of payment schemes and how money moves between banks and internal systems
• Diligent and detail-oriented, especially when handling money movements
• Able to adapt to fast-paced environments and changing processes
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence communicating with internal teams and external partners
• Able to start immediately or at very short notice
• Open to a fixed-term contract of approximately 5 months, with a possibility of extension depending on business needs
