Lorum is a financial services company focused on correspondent banking, clearing, and treasury infrastructure. Its clearing model is designed to release funds predictably, reduce trapped capital, and support USD clearing and treasury operations.

• Own the UK month-end close, including management accounts, reconciliations, and reporting;
• Run UK payroll, supplier and intercompany payment runs, client invoicing, and expenses;
• Own UK bank reconciliations, VAT, and UK statutory filings alongside the external tax partner;
• Support group finance work across other regions, including consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and audit support;
• Contribute to the NetSuite implementation;
• Handle ad hoc requests from stakeholders across the group;
• Independently run UK payroll, payments, reconciliations, and the full month-end close;
• Own UK finance end to end and contribute to group-level reporting and ad hoc work across EMEA, Dubai, and Singapore.

• Hold a professional accounting qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CA;
• Have around 2 years of post-qualification experience;
• Have strong management accounting experience and have owned a month-end close from reconciliations through to reporting;
• Have hands-on operational finance experience with payroll, payments, and bank reconciliations;
• Have a generalist track record and be comfortable covering different areas of finance;
• Have experience in a genuinely fast-paced, high-growth business where speed and execution matter more than process;
• Be comfortable working as an individual contributor and owning work directly;
• Nice to have: experience in fintech or payments, experience at another fast-paced technology or AI startup, NetSuite experience particularly involving an implementation, exposure to multi-entity and multi-currency finance.
