financial analyst in EMEA accounting

• Represent the EMEA Accounting team;
• Lead and drive meetings with senior management on key financial statement areas;
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for EMEA operations;
• Implement and maintain mechanisms and forums for reviews, decision-making, and escalations with finance partners and management;
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of processes and controls for high-integrity financial reporting across US GAAP, local GAAP, and management reporting;
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver an end-to-end reporting approach;
• Deliver cross-country functional projects, including implementation of accounting and controllership best practices;
• Ensure EMEA Accounting activities align across the Worldwide Accounting Organization;
• Explain accounting and finance terminology to non-finance teams;
• Support internal and external audit processes.

• Experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field;
• Experience applying key financial performance indicators to analyses;
• Experience creating process improvements through automation and analysis;
• Experience identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes;
• Advanced SQL skills for data mining and business intelligence;
• Experience in accounting management at a Big Four firm with Fortune 500 clients;
• Certified accountant qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent;
• Nice to have: experience managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, knowledge of accounting principles, processes and entries, clear communication with leadership, stakeholders and cross-functional teams, solid organizational skills, aptitude for information technology.
