gategroup operates in the airlines and aviation industry and helps improve travel experiences and create culinary memories. The role is part of its Shared Service Centre and Group M&A team.

• Conduct financial and market analyses to identify industry trends, growth opportunities, and competitive risks;
• Support research activities through Capital IQ and other public and financial data sources;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret market and business data;
• Generate insights from complex datasets to support strategic and operational decision-making;
• Prepare management presentations, reports, and regular updates on key market and business developments;
• Support the assessment of potential M&A and strategic opportunities through financial and market analysis;
• Monitor competitor activities, market developments, and industry dynamics;
• Continuously improve competitive intelligence methodologies, tools, and data sources;
• Support ad-hoc financial, strategic, and operational analyses across the organization as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration;
• Strong financial and analytical background with excellent problem-solving skills;
• Up to 4 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or related fields, preferably within an international environment;
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards;
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Ability to understand both the broader strategic context and detailed business processes;
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills;
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities;
• Ability to work with large datasets and transform data into actionable insights;
• Understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and compliance requirements;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach;
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams;
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks and responsibilities;
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic international environment;
• High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail;
• Resilient and adaptable with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving;
• Nice to have: Advanced degree or professional certification (CFA, ACCA, CIMA), previous experience in a Big Four firm or similar environment, experience with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and other financial research platforms, additional languages.
